Paediatric nurse – London

We are looking for a candidate who can work flexibly in and out of different vacancies. Somebody who has a caring and nurturing. The job will consist of: administering drugs and injections, preparing the patients for their operations, recording the patient’s temperature, pule and respiration, setting blood drips, overlooking strict hygiene and safety rules, and most importantly; educating parents/carers and explaining treatment to gain consent.

Especially when it comes to the consent from the parent for the child; it is vital that the candidate portrays and calm, kind and nurturing character to influence a simpler process for both the candidate, the patient and the parent. Trust should be automatically built in the initial meeting between the parent and the candidate. The candidate should have the capacity to do this as well as the job itself.

Required:

• Band 6
• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Clean DBS check
• Evidenced immunisation history
• 6 Months experience in a UK hospital

Hourly rate: £21/hr

Maximum amount of hours: 25
