We have an exciting new opportunity for someone to join one of the most important teams in a general hospital. We are looking to recruit a candidate that will be able to fill multiple vacancies that have arisen in the locum-based work industry. For this position; it is compulsory that the candidate has at least 12 months critical care experience in a UK hospital, a clear DBS check, an NMC pin number and your evidenced immunisation history. Candidate must be working as band 5 or above.

Alongside the qualifications and documents needed; the job requires someone with good nature. This is vital, as it is imperative that our patients in ICU are treated with extensive care. You should ALWAYS put the patient first.

The candidate should be able to deal with physical and emotional stress as there is every possibility that the patient you are taking care of may pass. It is the candidates job to deal with such losses in a quick, yet healthy way.

The candidate is expected to have reasonably good, if not excellent, communication skills. Whether it’s to patients or fellow nurses; communication should be clear and understood.

Hourly rate: £19/hr

Maximum amount of hours: 25 p/w
