When did you realise that a career in nursing was right for you? Was there a particular moment in your life?
I have always desired to care for people, especially individuals struggling with various mental health conditions such as depression, personality disorders, suicidal ideation, substance abuse, and other kinds of mental health challenges.
I decided to take the leap into nursing when I realised that the profession offers so many opportunities to positively impact other people’s lives.
What was your journey like in securing a role through WESolutions?

What advice would you give to young people considering a career in nursing?
If you are reading this and thinking you’re not sure if nursing jobs are for you, I was like you once upon a time!
Today, I can categorically say I’m thankful I chose nursing. Although people will tell you many negative things about the job we do, it’s always easier to focus on the positives. The right mindset will allow you to be successful and enjoy the work even more.
Nursing is a gift to us all, both for our clients and to us as nurses. Nursing changes you to a better version of yourself. No other career is so dependent on care, commitment, compassion and courage.
If you’re already considering a career in nursing, then you are most likely going to make a good nurse anyway!
Do you have any standout memories/funny/interesting stories from your career as a nurse?
I was always very vocal and determined about choosing a partner from another profession, because of how busy nurses are. Surprisingly, I fell in love with one. Case closed!
If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
To heal people instantly, as many and as quickly as possible. We all go through a lot in life and everyone deserves healing.
