Scrub Nurse- Manchester

We are looking for an experienced Scrub nurse who will work in and out of different vacancies within Manchester.  A scrub nurse is someone who prepares the operating area by organising and laying out the necessary instruments and equipment, working with the doctor through the surgery to make sure every procedure is safe and going successful. A scrub nurse also gets the patient ready to go to the recovery room.

Scrub nurses play an important role in the success of surgical operations. Before each procedure, Nurses “scrub in” by thoroughly disinfecting their hands and arms and then putting on sterile clothing. To keep the operating area sterile the ‘scrub nurses’ should wear masks, gloves, gowns and other protective clothing they may need for the surgery.

• Current NMC pin number
• right to work in the UK
• CV
• All immunisations
• Six months of NHS experience
