Paediatric nurse

The job will consist of: administering drugs and injections, preparing the patients for their operations, recording the patient’s temperature, pule and respiration, setting blood drips, overlooking strict hygiene and safety rules, and most importantly; educating parents/carers and explaining treatment to gain consent.

Especially when it comes to the consent from the parent for the child; it is vital that the candidate portrays and calm, kind and nurturing character to influence a simpler process for both the candidate, the patient and the parent

The candidate should work at band 6, hold the right to work in the UK, have a clean DBS check, have all immunisations and have had at least 6 months experience in a UK hospital.

Hourly rate: £19/hr
