Paediatric Nurse

A paediatric nurse is someone who works with kids of all ages who suffer with many different conditions, you will be consequently doing nursing activities for example blood pressure, monitoring temperature and recording results. You will be prescribing medication or intravenous methods, you will be helping doctors with patient examinations and tests, prepping patient for surgical procedures. To be a paediatric nurse you must have theses skills such as communication as you will be relaying information to the doctors and patient, knowing how to communicate with the children and the patient’s parents. Critical thinking as you will be assessing the patient’s health as well as looking for any changes in symptoms

Require

• Current NMC number
• Right to work in the UK
• All immunisations
• At least six months of NHS experience
